Adolph F. Stroh, a farmer for many years in the Anchor area before he retired in 1955 and moved to Gibson City died at Gibson Community Hospital Annex Wednesday 12-25-1974. Mr. Stroh was 92 years of age at the time of his death. Funeral services were held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor Friday with the Rev. Alexander Youck officiating; burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Stroh was born near Anchor 10-16-1882, and was a son of Reinhold and Wiebke M. Jakobsen Stroh. He married Olga Marie Ackert 12-26-1907; she died 8-8-1967. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mable Kietzman, Mrs. Evelyn Graumann, Mrs. Dorothy Lage, four sons, Floyd, Warren, Ray and Donald; a brother, Carl and two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Heckens and Mrs. Helen Nimand; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, a grandchild, five brothers and four sisters. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Pallbearers were David Lage, Leo Lage, John Hester, William Walters, William Kietzman andd William Keitzman, Sr.
