File Submitted by: Jackie Kwasigroh, < jjkash@tds.net > Source: a Bloomington, IL, newspaper, February 8, 1937 ***************************************************************** From a Bloomington, IL, newspaper: February 8, 1937 Anton Kwasigroh Dies at Age of 75 Anton Kwasigroh, 75, died at his home, 1309 South Main street, at 4 a.m. Saturday following an illness of five months. The funeral will be held at the residence at 8:30 a.m. Monday and at St. Mary's church at 9. Burial will be in Park Hill cemetery. Mr. Kwasigroh was born in Germany, Dec. 20, 1861, and came to America in 1882. He was married to Augusta Kerkofsky in Bloomington Feb. 16, 1884. The wife and the following children survive; Mrs. Minnie Weinard, Tony and Frank Kwasigroh, Randolph; Mrs. Edith Hines, Fairbury; Joseph Kwasigroh and Mrs. Frances Studeman, Heyworth. Seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive. One brother, Adam Kwasigroh lives at Towanda. There are also a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Kwasigroh lived on a farm near Randolph until 20 years ago, when he removed to his present home. Mr. and Mrs. Kwasigroh celebrated their golden wedding anniversary three years ago.
