Coordinator **************************************************************************** WILLIAM HURT Biography - Martin Township WILLIAM HURT, was born in Kentucky in 1841; came to this State in 1854, and resided in Bloomington for one year afterward. He was married, in 1863, to Miss Mary C. Rason, and settled in Dale Township, where he resided six years; he moved to his present location in 1869, and turned his attention exclusively to farming until five years ago, when he began the breeding of Norman horses, and has continued in the business, with success, ever since. He has one child - Charles W. Hurt, who was born in April, 1865. His farm is finely located, well improved, and worth about $40 per acre.
