By virtue of an order and decree of the County court of McLean County, made on the 
petition of Marion L. McClure, administrator of the estate of Eliza Ellen Hall, deceased, 
a portion of the land belonging to said estate was sold at public auction at the door of 
the postoffice in Danvers Saturday afternoon.  The real estate sold is described as follows: 
The west half of the southwest quarter of section twenty three, township twenty-four, north 
of range one west of the third principal meridian.  Mr. Charles C. Rowell of Bloomington was 
the purchaser and the price paid was one hundred dollars per acre.
