           Anchor, Il. - Mrs. Emma Hinrichsen, 68, died at her home in Anchor,

            Sunday, 10-8-1950.  She had been ill for sometime.  Funeral

            services were Wednesday at the St. John's Lutheran Church,

            Rev. Carl Grabemann officiating; burial was made in the St. John

            Cemetery.  She was born 4-1-1882 in Anchor Twp., the daughter 

            of Wm. and Anna Beecher.  She was married 1-23-1902, to 

            Herman Hinrichsen; he died 6-26-1946.  Surviving are a daughter,

            Mrs. Anna Schleeter, and two sons, Roy and Ralph, all of Anchor,

            9 grandchildren and one great grandchild, three sisters and five

            brothers.  Two children and two brothers preceded her in death.
