VOLA HALE (should be Zola) MRS. VOLA HALE, 74, of Champaign, formerly of Bloomington, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday at Mercy Hospital at Urbana. She had been ill for about a month. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Beck Memorial Home at Bloomington. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon and evening. She was born in Cumberland County, Ky., a daughter of FRANCIS and MARGARET FOSTER HALCOMB. She was married to SINIS HALE (should be FINIS) in 1923, at Bloomington. He died Sept. 5, 1952. She is survived by two daughters, MRS. OPAL SLADE, Champaign, and MRS. OVALINE GARNER, Moorhead City, N.C.; a stepdaughter, MRS. IRENE BYNUM, Stockton, Calif.; a stepson, ARTHUR HALE, Hartford, Ky.; a brother, SIMPSON HALCOMB, Bakersfield, Calif.; three sisters, MRS. CORA WEDDLE, Lincoln Park, Mich.; MRS. ERNEST NORFLEET, West Somerset, Ky., and MRS. GRACE LOVELESS, Nancy, Ky.; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. While living in Bloomington, MRS.
