  GROTH, PETER 

  Peter Groth died at his home in Valparaiso, Indiana Saturday 3-17-1945, 

  aged 83 years. He was a native of Germany and came to the US at the age 

  of 19 to make his home. He is survived by his wife, two sons and three 

  daughters, one of whom is Mrs. Marie Dodson of the Guthrie community. 

  Funeral services were held in Valparaiso Tuesday. Graveside rites were held 

  Wednesday at the St. John's Lutheran Church cemetery, near Anchor, in charge 

  of the Rev. G.E. Baseler, pastor of the Gibson City Lutheran Church.
