STATE OF ILLINOIS, MCLEAN COUNTY, SS.

I do hereby Certify that on the 5th day of March 1840, I joined in the Holy
Bands of Matrimony Mr. Washington Maxwell and Miss Leah Mitchel according to
the usual Custom and laws of the State of Illinois.
